Dhaka University Admission Circular 2023
Dhaka University was built in 1921. for hundreds of years of excellence, acquired an appellation known as an oxford of the east. Dhaka university offers several undergraduate and graduate programs, including MBA and BBA. Every year a large number of students participate in admission tests. Four units A, B, C, and D if you wish you can apply any of them. Before admission, a clear concept needs about every section admission procedure of the admission test.
DU Admission Test Date
As the admission authority circulated, the DU admission test will be held on June 2023. units wise details of admission date and times in here. The exam of three Units Except FINE ARTS faculty will be held in eight different districts. The candidates will sit on the exam table for 60 Marks for MCQ and 40 marks for written and will be given 90 minute total, for MCQ 45 and 45 for writing, except for the Fine Arts unit because they will be given 30 for MCQ and 60 minutes for Written.

Admission Test Venue: the admission test will be held at eight different exam centers an the same time. Each candidate will be selected of them.
DU Admission Requirement
The minimal entrance exam criteria at the University of Dhaka have been changed. From the last academic year, they raise their minimum GPA. The following are the entry requirements for each unit: –
For Ka/A Unit(Scinece )
Eligibility
SSC or equivalent passing year should be between 2017-2020 And The HSC 2022.
Only science background students can apply to this unit
minimum GPA on Both exams (HSC &SSC ) is no less than 3.50 in any exam.
integrated GPA must be up to 8.00 ( including additional subjects).
For Kha/B unit (Arts, Social Science, and Law Group)
Eligibility
Only students who have passed SSC within 2017-20 and HSC 2022 can apply to the Humanities group.
Minimum GPA of 3.00 on each section and integrated GPA minimum of 7.50 on both exams.
Have to fulfill the mentioned minimum requirement of B unit.

For Ga/C Unit (Commerce Group)
Eligibility
- Minimum GPA in SSC and HSC, not less than 3.50.
- The accumulated GPA should be up to 7.50 (with additional subjects).

For Cha/E Unit
- have a minimum GPA of 6.50 integrated GPA of SSC and HSC (including 4th subject)
- No less than 3.00 on any level ( HSC and SSC)
DU Marks Distribution
university authority has changed its decision on mark distribution. They reduce the MCQ marks and Dhaka raises written exam marks. According to the new marks distribution 60 marks for the MCQ test and 40 marks for the written test.

GPA Marks
HSC and SSC GPA will be calculated as 20 marks and the exam of 100 will be converted into 80 marks that have meant a total of 100 marks. Your selection depends on your achieving marks.
