SUST Admission Circular 2023 (Shahjalal University of Science and Technology) was founded in 1986. It was the only university of its type at the time, and it began its journey on February 13, 1991, with only three departments: physics, chemistry, and economics, 13 instructors, and 205 students. It has now grown to include 7 schools, 27 departments, 2 institutes, and centers.

The number of professors has increased to 566, while the amount of students has increased to 8596. In addition, the University includes 12 associated colleges with 4000 students under the School of Medical Sciences.

Shahjalal University of Science and Technology Introduction to the Unit:

Shahjalal University of Science and Technology is divided into two units: A and B.

A Unit: For the Departments of Science, Humanities, and Commerce
B Unit: Only for the Science Department.
B units are further subdivided into two categories.

B1 Unit: This unit is used for all Engineering topics.
B2 Unit: Architecture.

If you just want to take the B-1 test, you can. If you only want to take the B-2 exam, you can. Students who have received their diplomas are eligible to take the test.

How many points need for SUST admission?

A minimum GPA of 3.0 with an aggregate of 6.5 in SSC and HSC examinations is required to apply for A unit. To be eligible for the B Unit Unit, the candidate must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and an aggregate of 7.0 in the SSC and HSC examinations. Students who have graduated from the scientific department may apply to both the A and B unit
