“Victory Day” means the official declaration day of the real independence of the peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh. It is a read letter day in the history of Bangladesh. This very proclamation was declared on December 16, 1971. We regarded this day as Victory Day because on this day we got the freedom of our beloved country band nation. We got this day by nine months of bloody struggle against the brutal Pak Army. During our Liberation period, the valiant sons of our country laid down their lives for the shake of independence. They are the Martyrs of our Liberation War We fill proud of their valiant struggle and supreme sacrifice. Victory Day is a national day and every year we celebrate this day with due honour and dignity. I usually celebrate this day with due solemnity. I pray for the departed soul of the Martyrs. The memory of the Martyrs always inspires me to do something better for the nation. Their sacrifice always remember us of the value of the motherland. This Victory symbolizes a victory against injustice, tyranny, and falsehood.
