Types and intentions of Hajj – The first type of Hajj is Ifrad
Explanation: Putting on Ihram only for Hajj except for Umrah and not combining Umrah with Hajj. (This Hajj is also for Badli Hajj).
Niyyat: Allahuma Inni Uridul Hajja Fayasshir Huliwata Kabbalhuminin. (Bengali Niyyat- Allah I put on Ihram for your pleasure for the Ifrad Hajj. Make it easy and accept it).
The second type Hajj is Hajj e Kiran
Explanation: Combining Hajj with Umrah by intending Hajj and Umrah from the same place and performing both in the same Ihram.
Niyyat: Allahuma Inni Uridul Umrata Fayachir Li-Watakabbal Minni. (O Allah make it easy and accept that I put on Ihram for Hajj-e-Qibran for you.)
The third type is Hajj Tamattu
Description: Performing Hajj and Umrah in the same trip by wearing Ihram separately. After making the intention of Umrah in the first Ihram, after performing it, cut the hair, take off the Ihram, become halal, and for the second time, with the intention of Hajj, put on Ihram for Hajj from the 8th Zilhaj from Makkah Sharif. If you want to perform Tamattu, first perform Niyyat of Umrah and put on Ihram.
How to Perform Hajj Step by Step Guide?
Allahumma Inni Uridul Hajja Fayachirhu-li A-Takabbalhu Minni. Bengali Niyyat- O Allah, I have made the intention to wear Ihram to perform the holy Hajj, make it easy and accept it.
When and where to wear Ihram?
Miqat of Bangladeshis is Yalamlam mountain. It is obligatory to perform Hajj from here. It can also be done from Dhaka Airport. But if one goes to Madinah first, then it is better to wear Ihram on the way to Makkah from there. As
Bangladeshis perform Haj Tamattu, Umrah should be done first. Talbiya should be recited regularly. It is Sunnah to recite it three times. Wearing Ihram clothes is not Ihram, but the intention is Ihram. perform umrah
Umrah should be completed by entering Makkah if possible. Otherwise, you should go to Kaaba Sharif for Umrah without wasting time by leaving your belongings at the hotel. The important task of Umrah is to perform Tawaf. (Muslim: 2137). Seven rounds are called one Tawaf. The first three rounds are ramal (walking fast in display of valour). (Bokhari: 1501). After that it is necessary to do Ijtiba (put the Ihram cloth under the right hand over the left shoulder). Completing the next four cycles normally. (Tirmidhi: 787).
To say, It starts from Safa and ends at Marwa Hill. A total of seven circumambulation should be done. Then shaving the head (wajib). When the time is close to the start of Hajj, I want to cut my hair short. So that it is possible to shave the head again at the end of Hajj. After that attendance will return to normal.
During Ihram, you will be exempted from prohibited acts. I want to do more worship at this time.
When the basic activities of Hajj begin?
Day 8th Dhul Hijjah
After Fajr takes a bath and intends to perform Hajj, performs two rakat prayers and leaves for Mina. On reaching Mina, there is no special work on this day. During your stay here you will do more Ibadat-Bandegi, Dua-Zikr, Quran Recitation and Hadith Study.
Day 9th Dhul Hijjah
After breakfast, proceed slowly towards Arafah. Listen to Imam: Sahib’s sermon. Try to stay around Namira in the mosque. Do Qasr and Jama (two times together) in two Iqamats in one Adhan for Zuhr and Asr prayers. The
Prayer here is accepted. Pray more and more. You can do any prayer. But reciting ‘La ilaha illa Allahu wahdahu la sharika lahu wa lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa hua ala kulli shayyin qadir’ will get more reward. No one should go out before sunset (the Maghrib call to prayer). If you do this, Dum (sacrifice) will be obligatory.
Location in Muzdalifah Activities
After sunset (Maghrib Azan) depart for Muzdalifah. Do not perform the Maghrib prayer on the way; Rather, reach Muzdalifah and pray Maghrib and Isha prayers, Qasr and Witr. If you can afford it, you can do other worship at night. There is no obligation. You can collect 70 (7+21+21+21) palm seeds or smaller stone blocks from Muzdalifa. You can also collect from Mina. But sometimes it becomes difficult.
Day 10 Dhul Hijjah Mina Activities
On this day, only throw seven pebbles in the big jamara. It is obligatory. After throwing the pebbles, place the Jamara on the left side and pray towards the Qibla. Now there is no need to recite Talbiya. If you have paid the sacrifice money in advance, you can shave your head thinking that your sacrifice is done. In that case, you come back to halal status. That is, you can do other normal halal tasks including sewing clothes or if you think that it will be halal after performing Tawaf and Sa’i on the 13th and shaving your head, you can also do it. Shaving the head is obligatory.
On this day, if possible, go to the Kaaba from here and perform Farz Tawaf and Sai and return to Mina. If it is not possible, throw pebbles and return directly to the minar tent. Stay in Mina at night. Move the prayers during the stay in Mina. But don’t read more than once.
11. Dhul Hijjah Hajj activities
11th Zilhaj: On this day, after the sun sets, take 21 pebbles and leave for Jamara. When you reach there, throw 21 pebbles into the small jamara, seven into the middle one, and seven into the big one. If you have not performed Tawaf and Sa’i on the 10th, then you can perform Tawaf and Sa’i on this day. Otherwise return to minar tent and spend the night.
12. Dhul Hijjah Hajj activities
On this day one can return to Makkah. Like the previous day, throw 21 pebbles on this day as well. If you have not done Tawaf and Sai before, you can do it today. Then return to Minar tent and spend the night. If you finish throwing the pebbles before sunset, you can return to Makkah that day. But it is Sunnah to spend the night in Mina.
13. Dhul HijjahHajj activities
If you are in Mina on this day, throw 21 pebbles and return to Makkah like the previous day. If you have not performed Tawaf and Sa’i, then you can perform it today. If you are in Mina on this day, then on the 14th you will throw 21 stones and return to Makkah. If you have done Tawaf before, there is no need to do Tawaf and Sai.
Farewell Tawaf is obligatory
This Tawaf must be done before leaving Makkah. In that case it is not necessary to do Sai. But if one has not performed previous Tawaf and Sa’i, then with the same intention, after Tawaf, Sa’i will leave. It should be noted that if a person stays in Makkah for one day after performing the Farewell Tawaf, then he has to perform the Farewell Tawaf again.
Pilgrimage of Rasool (PBUH) in Madinah
Before or after Hajj, Madinah Munawara and Rasool (PBUH) must be visited. In that case, the things that need to be paid special attention to are that Medina is also a holy land like Mecca. Rasul (pbuh) and many of his companions are buried here. So it is very important to protect the sanctity of this land. This should be remembered at every step. I want to pray in Masjid Nabbi. Its reward is equal to 50 thousand rakat in 1 Rakat. Raozatum Min Riyazil to pray in Jannah. In front of Masjid al-Nababi, on the right side of Rasool’s Rowza Mubarak, different carpets of white color are laid. Rasul (PBUH) declared this place as a part of Paradise. The mihrab and musalla of Rasool (PBUH) are located here. Rasul (pbuh) used to pray in this black-and-white stone mihrab.
If possible, you can pray two rakat nafal prayers here without causing trouble to others. After that, observing the fast of the Prophet (PBUH) and saluting the Prophet (PBUH) wholeheartedly is a very rewarding and blessed act. It is located on the left side just in front of Masjid Nabbi. The green dome that we see from outside is the Rawza Mubarak of Rasool (PBUH). His two beloved companions, Abu Bakr (ra) and Omar (ra) are buried here. I want to visit their graves.
Details of Tawaf
The first task of the Hajis (Tamattu and Qur’an reciters) is to prepare their belongings and purify themselves and visit the Haram Sharif without delay and perform Tawaf. Apart from Umrah and Hajj Tawaf, Nafal Tawaf can also be performed. For example, doing Tawaf in mem. So we should pray to Allah for accepting our deep anguish of holly Hajj… Amin
